Washishti Grand Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Festival
Keeping the motto "Our soil, our people, and our culture" at the center, the grand Washishti Agriculture and Livestock Festival is organized every year for the all-round progress of Konkan. Farmers are inherently proactive and have a great curiosity about technology. Our sincere effort is to make modern technology, information, and guidance available to farmers through this agricultural festival. This is based on our belief that farmers should not only be financially prosperous, but also equipped with modern technology as times change. The festival is also designed to encourage young men and women to turn towards farming and allied businesses. The festival was inaugurated on January 5th for two consecutive years. Lakhs of people, including farmers, students, women, and people from various walks of life, attend this festival. This unique festival is a treat for the people of Konkan.
